well, i decided to be brave and give it a try.. there are lots of simple recipes online using a crock pot.. so i went w/ it :)

crock pot "fall off the bone" ribs

Ingredients
- any type and amount of beef or pork ribs that will fit in your slow cooker
- salt and pepper
- 2 bottles (approx. 32 oz.) of favorite BBQ sauce
Directions
1. pre-heat oven to 400 degrees
2. remove packaging, rinse meat, and place in deep baking pan in single layer
3. sprinkle both sides of meet with salt and pepper to season
4. bake meat in oven for 15 minutes, flip meat over and bake on other side for 15 minutes
5. remove meat from oven and using half of the BBQ sauce, cover all sides of meat completely and place in slow cooker
6. cook on high in crock-pot for 6 hours or on low for 8 – 10 hours
7. remove ribs from crock-pot leaving all drippings behind, and cover all sides with second bottle of bbq sauce
