after our successful batch of pineapple ice cream, i was super excited to make another successful flavor.. i decided to go w/ mocha...
i only made a half batch but i added a lil more sugar (i used 1/2 cup instead..) so id say use 3/4 to 1 cup of sugar..
this was DELICIOUS! omg. im probably going to make some more very soon... the flavor was great.. and it was super soft when it came out of the ice cream maker, but after sitting in the freezer over night.. the texture was perfect! not too hard, not too soft, not too icy... pure wonderfulness :)

makes 1 quart..
2 cups heavy or whipping cream
1 cup milk
3/4 cup sugar
4 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tbsp freeze dried coffee (instant coffee)
2 large eggs
mix cream, milk, sugar, cocoa and coffee in mixing bowl until blended.. whisk eggs in a separate bowl until light yellow. pour the eggs into cream mixture and stir until blended. transfer to ice cream maker and follow ice cream maker directions.
