corned beef and cabbage

i tried to find a good recipe for corned beef and cabbage, since last time i made it, it was just ok.. that was after following the directions on the package..

i read about people making it in a crockpot.. and i love my crockpot, so i decided to look up what people do..

it ended up having good flavor and was decently tender.. (i cooked on high for 5 hours instead of low for 10) i think it would have been better if i cooked it longer, but yea, it was still pretty good!

corned beef and cabbage.

3-4lbs corned beef w/ spice packet
carrots
potatoes
celery
cabbage cut into wedges.
water

put carrots, potatoes, and celery at the bottom of crock pot

place meat on top of veggies.

pour spice packet over meat and over veggies.

pour water to fill the crock pot about half way..

cook for 8-10 hours on low... put cabbage in about an hour to your end time.
