dole whip

my roommate had this great idea.. lets make dole whip!


i was positive there would be a recipe online.. you can find everything on the internet right?!


well, i found a recipe and it was pretty good.. everyone says if you want the best dole whip, you gotta buy the pineapple whip soft serve mix... this was pretty good, but im debating trying the mix to see just how good it is :)

dole whip!


(i halved the recipe for my ice cream maker..)

1 quart Dole pineapple juice

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

3 cups heavy whipping cream

3 cups sugar

Milk or water (varies by desired consistency)

Mix the pineapple juice and sugar, making sure that the sugar is dissolved, then add the cream and vanilla.

Pour the whole mixture into you ice cream maker.  For a thinner consistency add water to the fill line, or for a creamier consistency add milk.

Follow the instructions for your ice cream maker, which should generally just be to turn it on and let it do it’s work.

You can serve it as is or put it in the freezer to harden up a bit.
