i was in charge of refreshments at church this week and decided to share my love of crepes with everyone... i was a little hesitant, since i would at least need to make 60 crepes... in the past its taken me about maybe 45 mins to make a batch (~12 crepes) by myself... allisence thankfully agreed to assist me with all of the cooking... we made 5 batches and had two pans going... it took us about 2 hours to make them all... each plate had 8-12 crepes on them... sooo many!!
crepes
from all recipes
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon white sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon white sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups milk
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
In a large bowl, sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Stir in the remaining ingredients; mix until smooth.
*(i throw everything in a blender and mix that way... starting with either the eggs or milk on the bottom... otherwise the floor gets stuck at the bottom)
Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each crepe. Tilt the pan with a circular motion so that the batter coats the surface evenly.
Cook the crepe for about 2 minutes, until the bottom is light brown. Loosen with a spatula, turn and cook the other side. Stack the finished crepes by putting wax paper between each one. Keep covered with a dry cloth until ready to eat.

Great job on making so many crepes. I made a crepe cake once and it takes a long time to make so many!
Nutella and banana is my favorite way to eat crepes, too!
