baked sweet onion dip

this dip ended up being quite a success! i served it at a baby shower and then i had a whole left over one that i gave to a friend to use at her christmas party...

the only thing is.. it says that the longer its baked, the better it tastes... i cooked it for so long and it was getting darker, but i needed it to serve... so dont be afraid of overcooking.. i think i baked one for over an hour and it was still not that dark...

Baked Sweet Onion Dip
from White on Rice Couple

1 8 oz package of very soft cream cheese
1 cup mayo
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup diced or chopped sweet onion. You choose your size
1 tablespoon fresh cracked black pepper
Crusty bread or crackers

1. Set oven to 350 degrees. Place softened cream cheese in a bowl.
2. Add mayo, parmesan cheese, onions and fresh cracked black pepper to soft cream cheese till everything is mixed thoroughly.
3. Place in ramekins or any oven safe dishes. (mine fit in 3 10oz ramekins) Bake for about 30-45 minutes for all ingredients to cook together. When the crust is brown, almost burnt then the dip is ready. The darker, the better.
4. Serve with bread and crackers.
