i ran home after my meeting and tried to make peach frozen yogurt... i will probably tweak the recipe a bit.. it was tart as regular yogurt is. but the peach flavor was very slight... ill have to see what else people have done online...
the recipe is super simple.. (from the cuisinart recipe/owners guide)
1-14 oz can of peaches in juice
2 cups low fat vanilla yogurt
1/3 cup sugar
Drain peaches, reserving 1/c cup of juice. In a blender, pulse to chop the peaches. Add the vanilla yogurt, sugar and peach juice. process until smooth and sugar is dissolved (about 1 minute). Turn on ice cream maker, pour in mixture and mix until thickened, about 25-30 minutes.
